Sveaverken Nimbo Plus

Advanced Dairy Barns Ltd has obtained the New Zealand agency for the Sveaverken Nimbo Plus feed pusher.
This is the worlds most advanced feed
pusher.
It combines LIDAR (Light Direction and Ranging) artificial intelligence and inbuilt camera to ensure consistent, precise and efficient feed pushing.
Key advantages :-
  • Advanced Navigation.
Using both Radar sensing via the LIDAR                            system as well as inbuilt camera precise                          navigation is assured.
  • Real-time Remote Monitoring.
Barn images can be sent back in real time to phone           or computer to monitor robot and check herd at any           time.
  • Fast Charging System
The robot comes standard with a newly developed             48 V 40 Ah ternary lithium battery. Once the robot                 finishes feed pushing it will automatically return to               the charging station for re-charging. This function                 ensures that the robot can work for over 16 hours per           day.

  • High-power Motor
The robot uses new 400 W high-power brushless                                   motors and adopts a newly self-developed motor                                 controller. It has been optimized based on scenarios of small             and large farms with multiply barns.
  • Steep Slopes
If you have inclines leading into or out of sheds Nimbo Plus                can navigate slopes up to 15 degrees.
  • Difficult paths with obstacles.
With the Radar and LIDAR navigation system combined with              the camera the Robot can detect any fixed obstacles in the                feed path and navigate around them. If any temporary                          obstacles are in the robots path it will approach to 1m and                  then stop until the obstacle is removed.
  • No steel strips or Magnetic nails on feed runs.
Unlike most other robots it does not require any steel strips or            magnetic nails to guide the robot at the need of the feed lane            or around any obstacles. Only a small number of magnets are            required to stop the robot at the charger.
